Learning from the past, looking to the future

The son of a San Francisco banker, Robert Rebholtz, Sr. is an unlikely cowboy. As a child, Bob spent his summers working at a Basque lamb operation in Stockton, CA. It is here he developed his passion of ranching and livestock that would shape the course of his life.

In 1968, he purchased Snake River Cattle Feeders and founded Agri Beef with the ambitious goal of producing the world’s highest quality beef. A small, family operation at the start, Agri Beef gradually expanded to include every step of the beef supply chain, from ranch to table.
As happens so often in a family-run business, the day-to-day leadership of the company has passed on from father to son.

Today Robert Rebholtz, Jr. continues to build on his father’s vision and the core values of Agri Beef—leadership, integrity, and innovation—to create exceptional beef in harmony with the environment and our Northwest ranching traditions.
