A STATE-OF-THE-ART FEEDLOT.
As the newest, most sophisticated feedyard in the Northwest, Boise Valley Feeders, L.L.C. is built for results. Our facility features a computerized batch mill, which ensures that each load of feed is consistently mixed to the highest level of quality. Our stationary mixer increases the level of accuracy even further.
CATTLE-FOCUSED DESIGN.
Everything about Boise Valley Feeders, L.L.C. has been carefully developed to enhance performance and minimize any factor that could hinder the growth and health of your cattle. In the summer, a custom cross-fencing system allows us to minimize the effect of blowing dust and, in the winter, our 2-4° pen slope moves moisture away from the cattle and into drainage canals. These canals also speed the ongoing process of solid waste removal.
Every area of our yard--the processing barn, the hospital, and the shipping and receiving areas--is carefully designed to reduce the potential for stress and injury to your cattle.
OPTIMUM PEN SIZE.
One of the strongest advantages of Boise Valley is our pen size. Most feedyards cannot handle small groups of cattle (50-200 head) as well as we can. Our total capacity is 25,000 head, but our pens are small--for the highest level of individual attention and the best results for smaller ranchers or traders.
INNOVATIVE APPROACH.
Most large feedyards mass-feed their cattle based on averages. At Boise Valley, we believe there is a better way--and our small pen size makes it possible. We manage our cattle based on individual characteristics, and sort them accordingly.
Along the same lines, our small pens enable us to provide individual weight and carcass data, when requested. This service can help you make necessary genetic changes, to maximize your market value.

Our unique approach to cattle feeding is driven--and supported--by the exceptional qualifications of our people. Our bunk manager has over 30 years of feedlot experience, and our general manager holds a Master's degree in Meat Science from Washington State University. He handles all of our sorting, both in the pens and on the way to market, greatly improving your opportunity for profitable results.
